In response to demand from farriers around the world, Backroads Data has made some minor modifications that allow the program to be successfully used in any country.

Containing all the functionality of the U.S. version of Forge Ahead, the International version includes these additional features:

• Currency Symbols: You set the currency symbol as appropriate for your country. This symbol will be displayed with currency amounts throughout Forge Ahead screens and reports.
• Addresses: The City, State, and Zip Code fields in the U.S. version have been replaced with a single text field called "Address 3". For all your contacts, you can use any combination of Address 1, Address 2, and Address 3 fields to construct a correctly formatted mailing address.
• Phone Numbers: Phone numbers can be entered in any format or pattern, with no requirements as to number of digits or formatting characters.
• Dates: We have learned that dates are displayed differently in the U.S. than in other parts of the world! The International version will display all dates with the day followed by the month - "04-Mar-03".
• Reports: All printable documents generated by Forge Ahead are formatted to fit on size A4 paper.

English Language: Please note that the field labels that appear on screens and reports, as well as the software documentation, are in English. Of course, the data fields and note fields will store anything you enter, in any language.
